Yellowstone Milky Way

This is from a few summers back, I would hang out here at the Great Fountain Geyser. So I incorporated it with the Milky Way and some air glow into a pano. This was a 5 or 6 shot pano if I remember correctly.

All comments are welcome,

Jim

Pretty darn cool Jim - nicely executed. The green air glow may be a touch strong for me, but I don't know that I'd change anything.

Yeah, it is strong, I thought it was an aurora at first. The Milky Way is the correct color so to try and back off on the air glow, not sure how I could really do it. I just decided to embrace it... :)

Looks pretty amazing to me. The green sky tint is a little different but the image is still quite captivating.

Jim, very nice work! Leave the green in, just adds some of the otherworldliness such as Yellowstone already brings which is captured with the geyser.

Glad you embraced it, Jim. It's a beautiful image. Milky Way pano -- i'm impressed.

Thanks you guys! Yeah Bart, in the end, did just have to embrace it. But I tell you, when I first saw it while processing, it sure had me scratching my head!

And this is probably the best Milky Way pano I have done. I have tried it a few times, and usually the results aren't pretty... It's not an easy task my any means, but I am glad I have at least one Milky Way pano!
