Yesterday's Colors

Got treated to a few nice colors early in the sunset last night and grabbed a few frames for a panoramic view. Overlooking Vancouver Lake and the Columbia River wetlands. Four panels at 70mm.

Nice light and the reflection in the water is a bonus. Let some of it come up north. It’s been a while since it was anything but grey up here.

Thanks Jameel - sorry but I guess I keep shooting all of the color before any of it can escape towards your direction Most of the color was down low so 70mm in portrait orientation got too much uninteresting sky.

Thanks Jim - the reflected colors in the lake are the best part about winter sunsets. By the summer solstice the sunset is so far north its hard to even include the lake with the setting sun.
