You never know what you're going to get!

The other day I noticed the fog rolling over Ahtanum Ridge, backlit from the morning sun. I've been trying to photograph that for years, but it always eludes me. I jumped in the truck to get closer, and soon found myself in the middle of a thick fog. I wandered over onto the Yakima Indian Reservation and took some shots of an owl, some frosty bird-pecked apples, and then on the way home I spotted these old tombstones in the fog. Everything except the landscape, I went to get! I've drove by many of these Indian burial grounds, many times, and never saw anything of interest. But the fog made a creepy, scary scene that I tried to capture. What do you think?

That fog is really a neat backdrop for this place. The first shot and the third one are my favorite two - especially the third one. I like the way the scene trails off into the mist.

Hey Bill, great job on getting out in the fog when you saw it. That fog really adds a mood to the graveyard, and does make it feel a bit scary.

The order of my favorites are #3,1,2,4.
