ZWO Seestar full moon issue

Hi all. Am new to this group. Have been using this amazing little device for the past few months and love it! Last week I was unable to get any sort of picture of the Worm Moon. It appeared as a gray fuzzy blob on the screen. Is this because it was too bright?
On another note, looking forward to taking it to use next Monday for the solar eclipse. Looking forward for some guidance

It sounds like the moon was out of focus. Did you focus? The AF will work on the moon, be sure to touch your phone or tablet screen on the edge of the moon, a square will be placed along it's edge. Then press the AF button and let it focus. As a back up to that, do you have the manual focus controls turned on? You do that from the setup menu.

I am glad you are asking about the Seestar, I have an image I took with it over several days that I will post in a bit.

As to the Solar Eclipse, I am looking forward to that as well, I can give suggestions in another post.

I tried the AF several times but dId not know about the manual mode! Will definitely check it out.
