Nice, vivid colors. What was your distance from the flower, and what fstop?

Its been a while Amy, so I am going to estimate the distance at about 4 feet or so. The aperture @ f5.6 and taken hand held @ 1/50s with a 100mm macro lens (the older Canon without IS).

Ah okay. Did you use focus stacking to get the main bloom in focus as well as the ones below?

No focus stacking at all - single shot hand held.

You have to be really steady to get an image this sharp hand holding this at f5.6, and 1/50 of a second with a 100 mm macro lens. Great job, Jameel.
