My moon shot

Everyone seems to be posting moon shots. Here is mine taken near Factory Butte. I used a 100-400 lens with a 1.4 extender for 560 f8. I also used a tripod.

This looks super good Ben! you got some very nice detail and you shot it while there was still light in the sky which makes it much easier for the exposure.

It's great to see you having shot the moon!

Thanks Jim and I thought about that forum too. I have lots of moon shots from when I owned a Canon 500 f4 lens. Sometimes I wish I still had it.

Very nice job! The full moon is the most challenging version to shoot and get and detail out of, but you have managed some nice detail here.

Thanks Jim and I thought about that forum too. I have lots of moon shots from when I owned a Canon 500 f4 lens. Sometimes I wish I still had it.

That's great Ben, go through them, and post one once in a while here. That 500 f4 would be an awesome astro lens.
