Virgin River Autumn

While hiking the Narrows on Zion I had to stop and capture these trees against the canyon wall with the water flowing through the foreground. The biggest challenge was getting a clear view between hikers (cloned out a couple...).

Any thoughts are welcome.

Love the color and the flow contrast between the trees and the river.
I thought about cropping the distraction too..., and maybe darkening the water a bit.

The colors are a nice treat and the water textures worked out quite well. I'm with Ben on darkening that cliff wall just a bit.

Thanks All - it looks like the jury is in and I need to darken the top. The funny thing is that I'd actually lightened it to try showing the glow off the canyon walls. It definitely helps sometimes to have people look at things that aren't emotionally connected to them - a bright distraction near the edge of the frame is rarely a good thing!

The edit helps - it draws more attention down to the neat color show with the leaves on the far river bank.
