Mineral Moon

Hello all. Good to be back out shooting. Our weather has been terrible around here. Got in my new Sky Watcher Evostar 100mm ED Pro and finally able to use it. I upgraded the focuser to a GSO Linear Bearing and shot the Moon. Processed it as a Mineral Moon.

Awesome Yervant!

Did you do anything besides push the saturation to bring out those colors? The last few times I have tried to bring out the mineral colors the moon turned mainly an odd yellow color.

Thanks Jim. I started off in PIPP and Registax. I stacked about 99 frames for this. Then PS. It's a number of layers and curves and color work. (12) Colour Moon Editing Tutorial - YouTube I followed along with this video here, however we goes off on way to many layers. I only add layers that I see will get the job done.

Yeah me too as soon as the weather allows! Terrible start to Spring here in the NE.
