[Eric Gofreed]

Migration is almost over in my yard. So, my contributions for today's winged Wednesday are bird photographed in my yard during the last 3 weeks, Some of these birds arrived to nest, some passing through, and some are endemic.

This migrator is a male Lazuli Bunting. The brown tips of the feathers are wearing away and revealing the breeding plumage.

This is a male Black-headed Grosbeak. Arrived to nest and as son as the fledglings can fly, they will be gone.

Female Black-headed Grosbeak.

Male Bullock's oriole. One of three oriole species that nest near me

Beautiful images Eric - always a hard act to follow. I really like the shot of the female black headed grosbeak perched on the flower in #2.

My contribution to wings today is a busy wetlands scene from the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge.

Beautiful set Eric, my contribution this week is a black neck stilt from Bear River NWR taken a few weeks back.
