Some more small aperture test shots

These images are from a session yesterday morning where I was testing the use of a Laowa 100mm 2X macro lens with one 2X and one 1.4X teleconverter. This follows on from this post where I was using two 2X teleconverters.

These are simply magnificent! Very impressive that you have worked out a way to get so much depth of field without stacking, and have the overall image quality outstanding to boot. I'm just envious!

Thanks Dave. I like to have plenty of depth of field for insects etc, and for 10+ years I used minimum aperture with close-up lenses. Now with the teleconverters and a macro lens I can get greater depth of field than I ever could before, and I'm enjoying that. I'm not enjoying some of the downsides quite as much - heavy kit in particular. Also more time-consuming processing. No free lunches. :)
