Sun Jupiter Saturn

The sun shot was taken late in the afternoon on 7-30-21. Jupiter and Saturn were taken about midnight last night. Saturn and Jupiter just cleared some trees and when looking at the video you can see all the moisture swirling around. it was very hot and humid last night. The Jupiter and Saturn were the first shots from this opposition.

Saturn and Jupiter were close enough in the sky to fit into a single frame or is this two separate images? I like the prominences in the sun image.

That's two separate images. That is a pretty neat prominence. Looks like a flame on a birthday candle.

Thanks Mike, I hope I can get more planetary shots. I know I'll be able to get solar but planetary , I don't know we are getting into the worst 2 months.
