Time for another round of falling water :)

My starter falls are from a trip to the area around Florence on the Oregon coast and my favorite waterfall venue - Sweet Creek. A dark rainy morning left the light almost perfect for long exposure work.

Pile on with your own waterfall images.

Hi this is the second tranche of images from Rydal Beck.

lastly my favourite processed in a similar manner to my "pool of light" images, but even here plastic pollution rears its ugly head. ( the top of the tree trunk has a thick plastic bag trapped, I may clone it out) Ken

Beautiful falls Ken - I like the fall colors you managed to get here. I think my favorite of the set is the second image with the nice cascades and the fallen leaves on top of the rocks.

This is a cool step where the water drops right before it falls a good 30 or 40 feet for Upper Falls at Gooseberry Falls. I spent quite a bit of time in this area and I would like to go back. It had so many interesting pour offs.
There's a lot going on in this frame for falling water and its fun picking out all of the small scenes within your capture. I could spend a lot of time with a scene like this one.

Nice set of falls. I am away from home so have limited access to my images.

south falls in the Silver Falls SP
Sweet Jameel - every time I see these falls I keep wondering what this must have looked like when the early owner of the land was pushing cars over these falls for tourist entertainment.

Thanks for starting this Alan, and what a great set so far. I found a lot of waterfalls while uploading my archived images. Most have much longer shutter speeds than I currently used.

This is I believe Horsetail Falls in the Columbia Gorge.
Sure looks like Horsetail Falls to me :) Nice capture of them.

Nice looking falls and the dark rocks really makes the falls stand out. The dangling ropes suggest this might be a popular swimming hole in mid summer.
I think the rope is there for the Cliff jumpers. The fall is maybe 20 miles south of the Michigan School of Mines and looks like it gets its share of college kids.
