This is one of my first Timelapses at the beach, for me the issue is the 3 sec interval. The water moves too much in 3 secs, so parts of the wave splash get missed. If I remember right, since I was shooting in Raw, my buffer was an issue if the interval got too much shorter? I probably need to get it down to .25 or .5 of a sec intervals to get the Timelapse look but still not miss too much of the wave splash. Not sure.
When I get back to California next month, I hope to do it again but probably in video, and then I will speed it up and make it more into a Hyperlapse.
Thanks for the idea, I have a second part to this Timelapse when it was darker after the sunset, so the shutter speed of the camera did get longer, much as it would with an ND filter. I will post that tonight.
