The Crown of Artists Palette

From a month ago as I made my Milky Way rounds from Colorado to California. This was my stop in Death Valley, at Artist Palette Overlook. I know it doesn't get a lot of traffic there at night being a long one way road, and I also liked the variety of colors in the ground. The pinks got lost a bit, but still show up decently I think.

This is a single image shot with no moon at this point. The Nikon D850 is a beast for pulling out details from the shadows, and of course getting the extra light from shooting at f2.0 on the Sigma 14mm f1.8 lens also helps I believe.

All comments are welcome,

PS... A Timelapse is in the works

One of your best Jim, I love the ground layer and you have no light pollution.
I like it a lot too Ben, so I agree with you.

There was light pollution in the lower right but it was a yellow glow, and it disappeared easily by pulling back on the Yellow saturation slider without affecting the rest of the image. So I got lucky with that. In the Timelapse you will see the light pollution a bit more I think.
