I thought it might be fun to toss out a pair of images showing roughly the same scene along Sweet Creek showing what it looks like just before the rainy season and then what it looks like after a rather wet winter. This is near Annice Falls shot looking upstream.
First up is from a visit in mid October last fall:
If you look closely you can see where the creek bed is kind of scoured out from flows like what I saw a couple of weeks ago. This kind of water flow dislodges trees than have fallen into the creek bed and I could hear large rocks rolling along the bottom while I was taking this shot:
