View From Cadillac Mountain

Hi all

This is all too familiar probably, you arrive at a great location, only to be greeted by the fog, rain & clouds, lol. I know, I know, the poor landscale photographer.

I arrived at Acadia National Park, just in time for the fog & low clouds to shround the mountains all around me; it's quite a beautiful park unique coast line. I made the best of the weather, enjoy.

That is a beautiful view, Oliver. This is one of my favorite places too. I especially like it when there is fog or dappled cloudiness like this.

How easy was it to get a permit?

If you have a chance you should try to get to the blueberry fields to the west of here near aurora, ME. They are so beautiful they will blow you away. Here is an image from there.

Jim, thanks. I only went in driving around the loop for one day due to the very short time schedule, it's worth spending a few days there I guess.

Very nice Oliver… Cadillac is a great spot. I’ve made several runs for several days and spent time up there. Acadia is an amazing park and very manageable with its size. The other part of the park are the carriage trails which add a whole additional layer to the place… head back whenever you can.
