Looks like the ice on the other side of the spit has already frozen solid. So everything down in front is going to freeze solid as well? Glad I am watching this scene from a warm seat in front of my monitor

We had a couple of cold nights and calm winds so things got a little more solid. At the same time, most of this ice is still floating and I can watch the changes throughout the day.

So cool Bob! Too bad we don't have solar powered drones that can stay up all day long! That would make for a sweet timelapse.
