I am starting today's falls out with a deep rework of an old visit to Palouse Falls. These falls can present some simply rotten light if you visit during the wrong parts of the year and time of day. This visit was one of those days where the sun is almost behind the falls from the viewpoint and I had no way to frame the shot without the glare at the top of the frame so a heavy crop and a lot of clean up was necessary for this shot to work.

Beautiful image Alan. Trying to get good light for waterfalls is a frustrating business. Ken

Anything other than early morning or sunset is hard at this location unless there are cloudy skies.

From my Oct trip to Northern Scotland. A hike through a trackless wood to a waterfall marked and named on the map, this is usually a good sign. Unfortunately it was impossible to get into a good position to show it at its best. Ken
You might not have been able to get the best view but you did get some good ones. Especially the last two.
