on the Bush Hwy outside of Mesa AZ as you travel east you will be treated to the poppies all over the hills with the additional action of the Salt River (wild/feral) horses creating a stir

Great pair of captures. Question of curiosity - do the horses dine on the poppies? Seems like it would be fairly lush fare compared to the usual desert grasses.

they seem to be eating the green stuff not the flowers - it is very lush right now we have had a lot of rain

Wow Marcy! These are awesome! Love the action. One day I will catch some scenes like this. Usually when I find wild horses, they are just hanging out with no excitement.

right now they are fighting over the ladies - lots of action springs up all over - RF100-500
