The snow pile in my backyard has still not started blooming Alan. Your backyard is really beautiful. I like the gradation of light to dark in this shot.

Thanks Trent - this time of year is fun as spring kicks into gear and blooms pop out. Will the snow pile have white blossoms? 😁

Your wife is doing a great job of planting flowers, and you are doing a great job of capturing them. The colors are brilliant.
Thanks Doug - most of the flowers were planted years ago and have more or less gone feral in our backyard. I just wander around and look for interesting combinations that have appeared.

Thanks Jim - not quite sure how the flower ended up with the same name as the familiar organisms in the tide pools and ocean floor as it certainly lends to potential confusion. I like shooting flower beds in the shade like this since the color contrasts are much nicer than direct sunlight.
