Thanks Doug - most of the flowers were planted years ago and have more or less gone feral in our backyard. I just wander around and look for interesting combinations that have appeared.

Thanks Jim - not quite sure how the flower ended up with the same name as the familiar organisms in the tide pools and ocean floor as it certainly lends to potential confusion. I like shooting flower beds in the shade like this since the color contrasts are much nicer than direct sunlight.
