Blue moon over Vegas

Got this shot Wednesday evening (with Darcy Grizzle). I have a couple of people interested in getting prints. I've gone as far as I know how in LR for editing, but need to know what I could/should do to improve this image for production. Thanks!

I would remove the two planes (I think they are planes to the left of the moon). Then I would use the spot remove tool and drag it on that jet stream line above the moon and remove that. One great way that I have used to see if I like how it looks printed, is I send it to my friend Randall Bruce at Randall's Fine Art & Framing, & have him print it for me. You could have him print this 16 x 10 and see if you like it then if not go back to the image & fix what you don't like. It is not that much for a small print, from him. Probably looking at less than $13 depending on what paper you have him print it on. Do you know what medium you will be having the prints done on?

Yeah, I was looking at those "eyes" thinking they looked rather funky. I will get those items taken care of. I'm thinking to go metal or maybe fine art paper. Will look into using your friend as well. Thanks for the input!

He has metallic paper which you could test print on! If you need his number & email let me know!

Hey Teresa, overall I would say this looks really good. Removing any spots of light is a good start. I think the moon looks good.

There is dark angled slash streaking over part of the light up clouds a little ways above the moon, I think I would Content Aware fill that in as it breaks up the nice uniformity of the lit clouds above the moon.

Do you have Photoshop? Or just LR?

Hi, Jim

I have both. Should be easy enough to make the fixes... Thanks!:)
