Another Wednesday is upon us so time to start another waterfall thread.

My kickoff this morning is the uppermost of two falls known as Ledge Falls along Sweet Creek from my visit there last week. There is direct light in this scene but it's only barely visible in some of the trees due to the extreme wildfire haze.

Pile on with more waterfalls :)

Really nice Alan!

Svartifoss in Southern Iceland. The biggest challenge for this one was balancing on the rocks in the river waiting for people to move out of my frame. Somehow I managed to stay dry.

Lovely composition and a good waterfall. I am increasingly dismayed by comments about having to wait while people get out of the way. The Internet is a double edged sword. On one hand they allow us to communicate and see images from out of the way locations and on the other the self same locations get popular and people flock to them. The genie is out of the bottle so I suppose that I need to live with it. Ken

I knew what I was getting with this one. It is one of the most famous falls in Iceland, with a relatively easy hike to get there in the middle of their most crowded national park. I do get frustrated, though, with the endless parade of people that run into a scene for their selfie. But that's because my goals are different - and not necessarily better.
