Took my mom & our dogs to get out of the house and went to Pabco Trail in Henderson, part of the Wetlands trail system. Happened to sneak up on this guy!

Great catch. Have to agree with Ben - those guys are really hard to sneak up on. They seem to be able to sense when I am going to try to take my shot and then - screech screech squawk squawk and they are gone.....

Thank you all....Alan yep..I am lucky to grab this shot. Hard to sneak with three dogs & a mom with me hahaha. I actually was able to grab three shots before he took off, but my dogs were splashing in the water. Of course missed the flying shot darn it.
