A freezing lunar eclipse

Finally. I woke up around 5am and saw, that the sky was clear. It's a miracle!

I went outside after dressing up a ton of clothes. Temperature was around - 18°c, about 1,4 fahrenheit, I presume.

When the totality was about to begin, clouds covered the sky. What are the odds... I packed my camera bag and returned home.

At around 7:15 a miracle happened! Clouds disappeared and I took a second chance. That costed me to be late from work, but so what. Next lunar eclipse in Finland will be six long years ahead.

Ps: As I write this, my fingers are still a bit frozen...

These are super cool looking! That’s awesome that the clouds cleared just in time for you.

I had similar conditions as to the temperature to shoot in. Not as cold, but cold enough to have my snow boots, snow pants, snow jacket and hand warmers in my gloves going.

I am not sure on a favorite here, though I think your getting a wind angle shot of it is pretty cool.
