Hummingbirds in Eric's Backyard.

If you haven't figured it out by now Eric is a world-class bird photographer. He actually travels the world to get phenomenal images that I am sure he will share with us. He has taught me how to be a "good" bird photographer in a relatively short period of time. Here is an image from his back yard in August when hundreds of hummingbirds visit his feeders and flowers.

Pretty amazing stuff - having a clue how to set up an environment for this type of display makes a huge difference in the resulting imagery. Hard not to be impressed.

They just love Lantana...I have it in my yard also. I am trying to plant a desert hummer environment also :). I don't have a very good green thumb though :(
