    Moonshine in B&W

Great shot, and I really loved your story with the dog in your original Moonshine post. Funny that no-one else noticed, but what is up with the faint grid on the left hand shadowed wall? It is too regular to be natural.

    Strike Four

Wild! I love the sci-fi vibe.

    Moonlit Sunrise

Drop dead gorgeous. Goodonya for getting up and out there so early. I like the scattered line of rocks leading out to the sea stack, but the glint of moonlight along with the blue hour color takes it over the top. This might be my favorite shot you have posted from the OR coast.

Milky Way at Factory Butte - Timelapse

Fantastic! The clouds really make it for me. Like I said in your post of a still your exposure and processing is spot on.

    Factory Butte Milky Way

Beautiful. Another JF classic star shot. Ground exposure is perfect IMHO.

    Maroon Bells sunrise

Nice view, but not sure it is Maroon Bells. These iconic peaks are typically reflected in Maroon Lake in most photos. I've never been there, but love this view that I copied from Getty Images.

    The Dawn Wall

Wow, you must have been using a long lens. Nice work waiting for the light/clouds.

    The Dawn Wall

Beautiful and an unusual angle, where were you shooting from? The sunlit wall on the right is The Dawn Wall, this picture is more of the SW Face and The Nose.

    Snowy sunrise

Goodonya getting out in those conditions. You must have gotten cold fingers taking these. Wonderful light and clouds, the backlit icy branches in the second really catch my eye.

    The Watchman

Very nice light and composition. There are a bunch of small dust bunnies visible in the sky.

    Waves at Coal Point

Cool. Did you shoot some lower down?

Sorry about the numbers Jim, I read that a while ago but not today when I finally got around to posting. Thanks for all the comments guys. Despite the pandemic I did have a good year. Retirement is wonderful!

    Best of 2021

    1. My main ski partner, Eric, enjoying our best day of back-country powder last year at Stevens Pass. We were lucky to have this whole area of the mountain to ourselves on this sunny day, felt like the good ole days when we started skiing here ~30 years ago. 2. Eric got this shot of me the...
