I was able to get out in the heat and humidity to get these shots of the sun. It was as hot as the pics look. I used the Lunt 60 Hydrogen Alpha scope. On the one shot, I blocked the surface out in post processing. I took a video using 60% of 1000 frames.
I finally had a clear night to get out to image Saturn. I used the Celestron 9.25 Edge with a 2.5 Powermate and ASI224mc camera. I took 2000 frames and stacked 40%.
I reprocessed the images using less frames and I think the colors came out better.
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
