A mid July day at Brainard Lake with a nice veiw and reflection of some of the mountains in the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area. I need this reminded that warmer days are ahead after a week of very cold weather and snow forecast for tomorrow! :(

Driving south from Bandon Beach in Oregon we came to this nice looking lighthouse and stopped to grab a few shots. Sorry I don't recall the name :( It was a cloudy bright, overcast morning. The file was processed in LightRoom and converted to Sepia tone.

Along the road to Jefferson Lake there are several nice beaver ponds. The pond below is in the middle of a pind forest. I isolated this large pine tree overlooking the beaver pond and showing lots of pine tree around the pond. The clouds in the background added a nice touch to the scene! ;)

Every Spring and summer large numbers of American White Pelicans fly through Denver and Colorado. They only stay here for a few weeks and then move on. ;)

Horseshoe Meadow overlook is one of my favorite stoping spots in Rocky Mountain National Park. It is particularly nice during the winter with fresh snow! ;)

Drove up to RMNP yesterday and was greeted with mild weather with a little wind. There was snow predicted for today and tomorrow. We enjoyed our day in the sun! ;)

On the Road between Silverton and Ouray we found lots of orange aspen on several hillsides.

The Monview neiborhood is located just east of City Park in Denver and hosts a number of old and historic home. I shot these 3 home as I was walking through the area, which is way above my pay grade! ;)
