The Sharpless Catalog contains some pretty faint objects and this is one of them, Sh2-112 in HOO. It’s a total of four hours exposure, 2 Ha, and 2 O3. Three minutes subs were probably not enough even with the ASI 1600.
Too many cool targets, too little time to image !
Thanks for looking !

Thanks Jim ! It took several runs at the data before I could get something I was happy with. I think I used every process I know at least once, sometimes twice !
Looking for my next target to bag 😀

So , do you see the Pelican ? Hope so ! This is IC 5070, aka, the Pelican Nebula. I was very surprised to see just how faint this is. I got about 1.5 hours with each filter and it probably needs twice that, ouch ! This is close to the North America Nebula in Cygnus the Swan.
This is a tricolor...
Thanks so much !
I have been using the ZWO ASI 1600 MM Pro and the Stellarvue SVX 130 apo at 910 fl.
I used the color mask script to get about where I wanted the colors to be and then added the Ha master back in as a lum. I did HDRMT, Localhistogramequilization, unsharp mask, and Dark structure...
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
