NGC3718, one of my favorites, but..... I wish I had the dark skies, equipment and processing skill to give this galaxy the justice it deserves. Looks like a Christmas ornament to me. Over 16 hours on this and its medioker at best : (

Its been a while. 2 for one... Not bad considering they are right at 12 million light years away and taken from my driveway over the last couple nights using my SVX102, 533mc, L-Pro filter captuing a little over 11 hours of 5 min light frames.

Not being a portrait photographer, I thought he did an amazing job capturing his 50th bday holding up 5 fingers combined with the lighting and background focus.
