NGC3718, one of my favorites, but..... I wish I had the dark skies, equipment and processing skill to give this galaxy the justice it deserves.
Looks like a Christmas ornament to me. Over 16 hours on this and its medioker at best : (
Its been a while. 2 for one... Not bad considering they are right at 12 million light years away and taken from my driveway over the last couple nights using my SVX102, 533mc, L-Pro filter captuing a little over 11 hours of 5 min light frames.
Not being a portrait photographer, I thought he did an amazing job capturing his 50th bday holding up 5 fingers combined with the lighting and background focus.
I decided to do something different and focus on the nebulosity of IC444 without including the jellyfish as their is a lot going on in IC444 most people glaze over
about 5 hourd of 5 mi subs. gain of 101
133 (5) min light frames taken over the last 2 nights
Stellarview 102SVX/w Reducer, ASI2600mr, EQ6R pro, Altlia Tri Band RGB
Processed in PinInsight
Crop or Wide Field? Does it look too crisp or over saturated?
about 13 hours of 5 min subs over 2 nights using the Stellarview, ASI2600 MC, Antila Triband RGB filter with the RQ6R pro Guiding last night was terrable but I was able to capture it
SH2-284 is a rarely imaged HII region emission Nebula located in the Monoceros constellation
It's located about...
Cound not make up my mind what to focase on, so I just radonly captured interstellar dust I call Dusty Roads
Just under 6 hours. SV, 2600mc. Antila Tri Band RGB
Welp, I think I am done for a while. Taken last night. USe the Antilia TRI Band RGB, in the past I only used it as a broadband filter but it seems to work great as a narrow band.
I closed 2024 with a Bang so I thought I would start 2025 with another Bang
Started on this New Years night. SVX102, 2600mc, Antlia tri rgb NGC2170 the Angle Fish Nebula in New Year colors
20 hours invested.... I included the starless version so you can appreciate the nebulaoisty
Also finished up Christmas Eve but with my SV 102, 2600mc, Alpt 5nm filter. about 17 total hours of 5 min subs
forgot I processed it late and hadn't post it on FW.
I suspect this will be my last image for 2024, so I might as well go out with a bang.
about 20 hours total spit up on 2 panels, last data set taken Christmas Eve.
WOGT71, Asi533mc, Antlia triband filter.
For my SVX 700 FL, it's a little thing
NGC 1579 (also known as the Northern Trifid) is a diffuse nebula located in the constellation of Perseus. It is referred to as the Northern Trifid because of its similar appearance to the Trifid Nebula, which is located in the southern celestial hemisphere...
