Just got back from some chill time on Kauai

While in Flagstaff, drove around the San Francisco Peaks and found this pond. Not sure if it's manmade . The reflection wasn't as crisp as I would have liked.

The path taken. The hike to Indian Rock wasn't hard, but then it wasn't easy. We did stop along the way to capture scenes that got our attention.. This one I call the path taken. It is looking back from which we came. The light, shadows & it's meandering seems to tell a story

Just got back from 3 days mostly hiking in Yosemite These ae from hikes to Taft Point & a partial hike on 4 mile trail. From here, you see the icons from a different vantage point Nothing spectacular, just Yosemite

While visiting daughter & G-kids in Vancouver WA, they took me on a hike to a nearby park.

When taking my daughter for a walk late afternoon, thee flowers were leaning out over the walkway. The sun backlit flower was like a beacon, intensifying it's brightness

It seems there are a hundred ways of photographing Yosemite Falls. This was taken from the North side of the valley rim, along the trail from Taft Point to Sentinel Dome. The rock outcroppings are probably a couple hundred yards from the trail and almost perfectly frame the Falls.
