Still stuck in the house for the most part. But it has me going back through and editing some older images. Like the ones from a 2015 trip through the southwest. Hope you enjoy!

I will be in the Palouse in June and am not familiar with the surrounding area. I will be driving/camping my way up from home (near Sacramento and Lake Tahoe) and am looking for suggestions on places to shoot on my travels. Thinking either back towards Washington State (maybe, with the stuff...
Been down ill since returning from Hawaii, but my test came back negative for Covid-19! Thought I would post a couple from my recent trip to the islands...
This is a set of pines I drive by quite often when making my way between Highway 50 and Highway 88 on the western slope of the sierra. I finally caught a good day to capture the buggers!
One from a few years back when we got an early snow in the Sierra. After this the snow shut down until March! Fingers crossed that this happens again this year. Once our power outages stabilize I hope to make it to the valley.
This river in Northern California was named such because the early settlers saw lamprey in the river. Since they look like eels, there you go! I did not see any salmon running but a ton of fry in the river. Not sure if they were salmon or steelhead though.
How bad can a week in the redwoods be? Walking among the giants recharged my photographic batteries. Now perhaps next week on to Yosemite or the eastern Sierra for some additional color.
Making our way back from the redwoods of Humbolt. But the maples were amazing as we made our way down elevation toward the county line! Cant wait to post process some of these initial edits once home and get them up in the galleries!
This is a shot of Bridal Veil Falls along highway 50 on the way to South Lake Tahoe. I split the image and mirrored it to make it like a Rorschach like image from the falls. CC welcome...
As today is the 50th anniversary of the landing on the moon I thought I would post a landscape that included the moon. I hope to see some from others as well.
I caught this scene last spring. Busses were coming and going. It was a total white out situation. But since I am in the park often I knew just to wait a while. You could hear the roar of the falls, then all of a sudden, here comes a vision. Yosemite reveals itself to those who dare to wait.
Curious what bags people are using. Seems I have about a half dozen bags laying around from Lowepro and others.
What bag do you use, do you "love it" or are you also on a search for that ultimate bag.
Most of the time it is one body, 3 lenses, filters, attached tripod (a must!) and other...
Dont see many pictures from the Gros Ventre area of the Tetons, so I loved seeing the one Alan posted. Decided I should post one of mine, not to compete, but to encourage others to venture into that area.
I can't remember if I posted this image of summer grasses in the Sierra along the banks of the Carson River. If I have, my bad. If I have not, hope you enjoy.
A little Lake Tahoe scene with the monsoons. I was headed back from seeing my father in law after hip surgery in Truckee and kept looking in the mirror. I finally stopped at Inspiration point and just enjoyed the sunset on the monsoons over north Lake Tahoe.
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
