I saw Jim's post with his double rainbow and it made me think of a couple of photos I took in the neighborhood so I thought I'd share them. My neighbor also asked me to get a photo with her windmill in it. So I thought I'd give it a shot as well.

Getting storm photo's and lightning pictures is one of my favorite things to capture. Now that spring is here, I really start watching the radar and looking for storm. These are just a few I was able to snag this past week during the monsoon that hit Colorado.

Every morning I take my dogs out in the open space behind my house. It's about a mile and a half loop in the eastern plains of Colorado. I always try to take my camera with my 150-600mm with me. Sometimes it pays off. These pronghorn were not impressed with us.

Yesterday I went to a local state wildlife area in hopes of catching some eagles. There weren't too many eagles hanging around, but I think I had a good day. I walked just over 10 miles, so today will hurt. Look closely at that Kestrel in the tree. Lunch time.
