One of the things I wanted to do with my drone at Skyline was to fly down and out to get a view looking back up at the viewpoint. Look for my truck camper near the rim in the center and people at the point. 15 frame pano, each a median blended stack of 5 RAW shots, a total of 75 shots = 90 MP...
Thanks to Ben I've been dreaming of flying my drone at Skyline Overlook for a couple years now. It was exciting to finally do it, with some nice clouds to boot!
My wife and I spent the night out at Skyline in our camper last week. Nice clouds cooperated for photos but no rain.
Factory Butte on the drive in.
Fellow photographer shooting the Butte.
Sunset
View to the Henry Mountains.
Had to stop a few times on the drive south from SLC to Goblin Valley.
I told Debbie that God insisted I stop for this shot.
Great thunderheads near Green River.
Almost there.
Something from this spring...an old favorite area. It's an Instagram thing these days and what was once a by yourself thing is now out and found out. I fear that it might be loved to death and destroyed, C.
A recent video from out at Joshua Tree on the morning after an all night Perseids Meteor photography. Before leaving I wanted to walk around the wonderland of rocks as there are so many shapes and sizes out there.

#1: Skiing down from the Paradise Glacier, Mt. Rainier. Not the best ski shot of the year, but I managed to capture my friend Silas in perfect position on his 70th B-day - my present to him.
#2: Another summer ski day at Mt. Rainier. My partner Eric got this one of me on a new descent for us...
Back in 2013 my wife and I hiked in here to spend a night and shoot the hoodoos know as The Towers of Silence. We were lucky to have the place to ourselves until two other photographers showed up in the late morning for an hour or two. This was my favorite place on our month long UT/AZ tour that...
We've stopped for the night a couple times at this little ID state park on our way back from SLC. It isn't too far off the freeway and has a nice little campground. I got up in the dark and had the dunes to myself this morning.
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
