Hi, as promised... There was so much to see and two to three hours later and I still felt like I could keep photographing here.
This is what caught my eye as I was standing across the way with my 200mm lens. But as I watched what view I saw this tree....

Last night I decided that with the temps being so in the negative in the morning that I should go out to see if I can see anything truly cool to Photograph. I was almost coming into town when I saw this tree with some fog so I was able to turn around to go back but I didn't see anywhere to pull...
This was from earlier this summer. I went out on a work project and took some photos for them. It was so much fun to mix work and play. This was went I was out on my personal time. Some moody vibes... CC Welcome!
My romance with the fog had several moments of breaking up last night at Huntington Beach. In a normal relationship, that would cause heartache, in my case it got me excited! :) Now I know @AlanLichty might think I am a bit crazy as he has dealt with 10 lifetimes of fog, and probably gets...
From Minnesota a few weeks back as I was chasing fall colors all over the state. This is somewhere east of Bemidji. There was a light bit of fog but it just didn't really show up in the raw image, so while processing it in ACR I used a slight bit of negative Dehaze to help bring out the foggy...
I love Tuscany in every season, but especially so in the fall or spring, when mist can transform the landscape & the mood of your photos completely.

I found these plants at the edge of a field the other morning at dawn and had fun creating these as the sun rose. The plants were only 12-20 inches tall so I had the camera on the ground to get this perspective.

Venice Foggy View
This was our first day in Venice, Italy. We were walking back to our hotel from dinner when we came across this view. I could not get my camera set up fast enough for fear of losing some of the fog. I knew that Venice was going to be full of photographic opportunities, but...
Hi all, I revisited some photos I took one misty morning last October here in France. My husband and I were heading out early on a 6-hour roadtrip. One minute down the road, I noticed this field filled with mist, so I made us stop so I could take pictures for a good 20-30 minutes. He made good...
It was a foggy day drive up Hwy 20 on Monday until we passed the gate. I stopped to shoot some trees in the mist, but while setting up my tripod they all but disappeared into increasing fog. I got cold waiting for it thin out so took a couple and figured it would be interesting to see what some...
The morning fog hid most of the sunrise clouds from my house, but I could see a bit of color developing up high so I launched the drone since it only takes a couple of minutes to deploy.

Very early morning on a drive up the coast this last weekend I saw this view as I drove around a bend on the Pacific Coast Highway. I had to do a quick pull over and stop and back up a bit as I really liked the palm trees almost disappearing into the marine layer. This is south of Santa Barbara...
