I've posted this view before, but I think this one does justice to the experience I've had.

Little Corona just south of Newport Beach is my favorite go to location. Here is one from post sunset. I will have to post some of the sunset ones later where the fog glowed golden light. In this one that golden glow had faded, but I still liked the mood. All comments are welcome, Jim

Literally. On this day in Feb '08, a control burn by the forest service a few miles inland, mixed smoke into the thin morning fog and almost did away with the horizon. Only the low islands across the bay gave it any definition. Old, rickety pier near Apalachicola, FL.
