This is one from last fall at the Dallas Divide in SW Colorado by Ridgway. I came back to a stormy sunrise and got some pretty cool light.

Hi, I just got back from a long trip went down to the Grand Canyon and up to Moab ending my trip in CO. It was a super cold morning but so worth the bone chilling cold.
CC welome!
I captured this shot before the sunrise light hit the clouds. I was timing the surf, trying to get nice reflections in the wet sand. For this image, I really wanted to show off the arch and color. This is a blend of two images for focus stacking.
Any thoughts are welcome.
We had a forecast for some nice skies at sunrise yesterday morning so I drove to Santa Cruz to take advantage before going to work. I'd never been there before, but I've seen the arch in lots of photos from others. I really liked the relatively flat beach that made for some nice reflections...

This is from my first morning on my recent trip. I sent a message to Andrey asking for sunrise advice and he pointed my toward Joffa. As I was heading there the sky lit up and I found this composition, so I went with it.
For those who follow such things, Joffa is the location where Jonah caught...
Yesterday's sunrise at frozen Dream Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park. Both pictures took from the same location at around same time, one facing west and the other east. It was very hard to take the pictures with gusty winds up to 35 mph.
Took the drone up for a looksee for sunrise this morning. Didn't appear too exciting from my front yard, but once I was a couple hundred feet up this opened up! Click through for a larger gallery version.

This is from a sunrise in Utah. As I am traveling, the San Rafael Reef is a favorite area of mine to stop when it's close to sunrise or sunset since there are so many cool land formations there and also you have lot's of options as to what direction you need to shoot to capture clouds that are...
The last place I took a few pictures on the drive to the airport on our fall trip.

Another one from Johnny Behind the Rocks in Wyoming, a really cool place that you should stop by if you are heading to the Grand Tetons.

This is from a few weeks back up by Dallas Divide in the San Juan Mountains in SW Colorado. It was one of those totally thick cloudy and rainy mornings, the kind where you think there is no point in photographing as it will be too cloudy. And then you go out to photograph anyway. :)
So out I...
One of the sunrise's when I was up in the Grand Tetons in Wyoming with the FocalWorld gang. This particular sunrise I decided to take advantage of the angle I had seen Alan shooting at the day before, and it actually worked out well since the colors were to the south of the peak and only for a...
