Hi all, So this year took me to Grand Teton and Yellowstone for most of the year and trips! This was my las trip to Grand Teton for fall color. There was a wildfire in the area which was making it hard for any kind of sunrise or sunset so towards the end of my trip I decided to focus on...
This was one of the highlights of my trip next to getting a photograph with the famous wildlife photographer Thomas Mangelson!
While in the park my mom and I were getting ready to turning off Teton Park Rd. to go to Colter Bay Area. I saw an emergency vehicle coming towards us so I waited for...
I had a lot of fun shooting today. I have only been venturing out for the past month a couple miles from my house to shoot only drove a couple times... We have these ponds about 2 miles from the house if you walk the Big Thompson Trail. I run this trail a lot but I have been now also walking it...
Yesterday I went out on my normal run... and came back to my street only to come up on the two! I had to go that direction but decided I should go the long way home...just an IPHONE 11 shot but always fun to capture a memory no matter what we use.
I went out yesterday for about an hour in the morning and then again for a few hours up to dark (I would say sunset, but unfortunately it didn't happen). This is the first time I've been out shooting in many weeks and it felt so good to be out.
Both times a buck totally caught me off guard. I...

Appreciate your comments as always.
The mother was not about to move. We stood face to face for a very long time. Me wanting her to move about and she, not about to be distracted from me.

A curious pine marten sitting atop an elk skull in western Montana. Just one of the many critters that stopped by to investigate the old skull. Captured with a remote DSLR camera trap that I put together last year.
The last meal of the day.

On the recommendation of @Jim Sanderson I stopped by the San Joaquin Wildlife Preserve on the way back down from Christmas at my sisters in Sacramento yesterday. This was my first time really shooting birds with the Tamron 150-600mm G2 on my Nikon D850. I shot it primarily in Crop mode so that I...
While hiking through the woods today at Ridway State Park, I found myself surrounded by our woodland friends. They didn't seem to care that I was there or not. These two were the most captivating of the group.
He's sticking his tongue out at me :p
Spent some time this afternoon in the Heckrodt Wetland Reserve and look what I found! A buck with half its antler.
