Sometimes you search far and wide for wildlife and then carefully work to get close enough for a good shot. Sometimes a bull elk walks right passed your parked car and poses for you... This was one of those right by Mammoth in Yellowstone.

These were taken in the Oakvale Wildlife Park near Port Stephens, Australia. This is about a 3 hour drive north of Sydney. I made my trip to New Zealand and Australia in early March, but I had so many pictures I ran out of steam processing them. I finally got to these shots I took at the Tilligerry Habitat where we were looking for wild Koalas. We didn't find any Koalas, but we did find swarms of these soldier crabs...
