2022 First Light

I didn't know if I would see a good sunrise as it was still cloudy from the storm passing through. I originally was wanting to photograph off Airport Rd. at the over look but it was of course full. So I went to another location off 179. I just finally pulled over and started to photograph to the left of this image there was no color but some really low setting clouds that I have not processed yet but this was the view to my right. Happy to have some color! This has become a tradition for me to get up every morning New Years Day to see the sunrise.

This is some great color Alisa, and I like your view point here. It's different then we normally see, so it's a good thing the airport overlook was full.

Alisa, beautiful sunrise, love the clouds. This looks like Arizona landscape, I could be wrong though.
