A Forest Trail

Beautiful work as always, Alan. Wonderful lighting!
I wonder about a crop from the left, to lose that wedge shaped log in the lower left corner. Kinda drags my eyes there. It would also de-center the main tree and move the focus into the lovely right side light and foliage. Just a thought.

Hey Alan, this is a really sweet shot with that green and that light. I had the exact same thought as Barry. Crop some from the left to lose that lower left log, but leave enough to still have as many of those yellow leaves on the left as possible as those yellow leaves are a great detail.

Just tried a new left side crop and some content aware cloning to remove the log.

Preserving those leaves on the left was a primary goal - thanks.

An interesting scene. The subtle gradations from deep green to the light oranges works well.

That area is on my list of places, hopefully soon.

I like the left side crop better. Would like just a tad more on the bottom so that the leaves right in front of the tree aren't cut off.

Beautiful tones here, Alan. I like the cropped version better as that right side is so gorgeous. The bare earth and leaves on the left side do not trouble now that the corner is gone. Another nice forest shot!
