It's neat when you can get a direct shot of the sun like this. I like the contrasts.

Great shot without the haze layer to block the sun/sea contact. I like the sharp contrast in color temperature between the sea and sky.
Hi Jim, this is a nice shot, but it seems a bit oversharpened.
Hey Ben, are you referring to the contrast edges between the rocks and the water?
What grabbed me is the water which looks a bit crunchy. Maybe contrast, maybe sharpening.

I like this image, Jim but ever since I read Ben's critique I keep thinking that only the part from the horizon down has been sharpened.

I like the color! thats crazy to think that was the moon setting! had I not read that it was the moon I would have thought it was the sun...sometimes smoke from wildfires can cause the sun to look like this too. Beautiful!
