A slow down for me

On Monday, I am having a torn rotator cuff fixed on my right shoulder. I will be left handed for a while and my photography will come to a halt and my posting will slow down. Just so you know I have not abandoned the forum.

I will still be digging through my archives and may post a few, but not at the same rate.

Start exploring your phone as a camera - it's an easy way to keep shooting with one arm.

Thanks Alan. I pulled it last winter while out snow shoeing. It will be nice to get this fixed.

I use and old style flip phone, so have not graduated to Iphones yet even though the family keeps pushing it. I am too cheap to give up my cheap 55 plus plan for my wife and myself.

Think of it as an excuse to get a new camera that just happens to be your phone too. And it replaces GPS with the right software.

My wife has had a couple of rotator cuff surgeries. Be religious about your physical therapy and you'll come back better than ever!

Thanks All for the kind wishes and all. I just finished my last workout this morning, I do some weight stuff, but it has been very restricted for the last month or so, I just hope I can get back in shape after my long lay off. I have pretty good exercise discipline so I expect to do ok on therapy.

i am back 3 hr shredded bicep tenden and rotator but it went well and i fell good also 2 bone spurs

Glad to hear it went well. Also nice they could harvest the bone spurs while they were in there.

We get more than enough of those with age but it's rarely beneficial to have surgery just to get at them unless they are severe so it's nice when they can clean them out while doing something nearby.

We will likely end up seeing more of him than ever since he will be bored. Jim hit me up to join this forum a few days after I had surgery to remove a disk from my neck and that's exactly what happened to me.
