This is from the drive up the LaSal mountains in the Moab area. Found this patch with these strange combination of fall colors and (what looked like) dead trees. Grabbed my attention enough to stop and capture it.

Really like this one. You can get some of that color mix with aspens & trunks, but this does fit the death/regeneration theme best.

I like the gnarled twisted shapes of those trunks rising out of the ground level color show. Nicely seen.

It was a sight to behold. The patch was much larger, however the wide view didn't really work that well. The colors ranged from green to yellow all the way to deep orange.
