A Yankee Summer

That is summertime in Yankee Boy Basin in SW Colorado. You want to call it springtime but it's actually summertime when the wildflowers bloom in the high altitudes of the mountain basins.

I love the big nasty clouds as a backdrop - adds a lot of drama to the scene. Looks inviting with the colorful wildflower blooms in front.
