Abandoned in Autumn

Hello all! My first post here and my first time getting out in a long time. A photography friend and I usually get out each spring/fall for some abandoned building photog'ing. It was 2015 since we last got together and spur the moment this year we headed out for the day. It was great to get out and catch up and capture some of the autumn colours before they're all gone.

Enjoy!

Welcome aboard - nice to see your work again. I am smitten by the scene in the second image with the nice old barn and colors but am also fascinated by the old farmhouse below it. Is the B&W interior scene from that house as well? Almost reminds me of one of the fun houses they used to have at amusement parks like Knott's Berry Farms in the late 50's.

Great to see you here Scott! I'm really liking the way the building fits in perfectly with the clouds in #3. The trees in #2 are also fantastic back up to the old barn and contrast very nicely with the blue sky.

Good to see you here Scott. This is a very fine set, but I have to agree that second shot is great.

Hey Scott,

Welcome aboard! It truly is awesome to see here!

These are all great shots for different reasons. The 2 that really jump out to me are #1 and 4.

You have the coolest leading line in #1! Then #2 is as awesome of a fall color shot as one could ask for. I like the perspective your friend brings to #3, and also the feeling that the house is tilting in opposite directions at the same time! And #4 works great with that B&W and the incredible feel of leaning in it.

Love the inside shot of the "crooked little house"

Welcome Scott - I always enjoy your work! Really nice set - well composed and executed. I think the second is really pretty but the last one is just awesome. I love the weird angles and the details through the windows.

Excellent work Scott! Good to see you here!

Maybe because it's fall I really like number one out of the set. I like two also, but ... well, it's number two...

Great work!
