Along The Merced In Yosemite Valley

One from early November with control burn smoke in the valley.

I like the first image - not much left of the fall colors but what is left adds some nice accents to the scene and the dark reflections work well. The second image doesn't quite work as well for me - the trees on the left are close to blown out in the direct sunlight and the smoke behind adds kind of a funky blueish cast behind the trees.

I like what's here now. Delightful scene with lovely lighting and subdued color. Nicely done!
