Andromeda Galaxy - 2021/11/04

I was driving a few weeks back on the I-40 and I was looking for a nice spot to stop with dark skies to do some Deep Space Astro. I ended up at the Petrified Forest NP parked right outside their gate (which closes at sunset). The sky is really nice and dark there.

60 Lights @ 120 secs
10 - Dark Frames
20 - Flat Frames
30 - Bias Frames

Amazing detail Jim, looks pretty darn good to me for a standard camera and lens. Is there a reason your did not go to 600mm?

Because the Galaxy won't fit into it at 600mm. 300mm allows me to have a little space around it. Maybe I will try it at 600mm sometime to get closer in to the core, but the galaxy would be cut off.
