Another Colorado Sunset

From last Friday night. Last week was a great week for sunsets as I ran around Northern Colorado performing my Grandpa Duties. In this case I had just gotten done eating at Cracker Barrel with some of the family. As we left I saw the clouds looking kind of cool. Everyone wanted to go to Target which was a block away, but myself, I was targeting this barn next to the highway. So I dropped everyone else off, and I headed to the farm which was just across the street.

I am pretty happy with how it turned out. I haven't been able to get these sunsets in iconic locations like Arches or the Grand Tetons last week, but I am still happy with them even though they have all been taken in a common place locations found all over Northern Colorado.

All comments are welcome,

Jim

Jim do you know what hit me first? That lovey old tree in the front and just right of the buildings. It’s the old wood color that I love so much.

the other trees compliment it and I also like the yellow buildings the sky is frosting on a delicious looking cake

I like the color contrasts and the neat buildings below the color show.

One slight nit - you are tilted to the left.

I appreciate that Alan!

Actually if it's tilted it's leaning to the right. I am shooting at an angle, so that front line of the buildings angles up and away. But I didn't want to correct for the tilt to the right, because it would make the illusion of the left leaning angle even more pronounced. So I had seen what you are saying, and chose the least of 2 evils. :)

A neat farm with a blue sky and beautiful clouds - their color matches the houses in the foreground .. nice scenery and captured light, Jim.
